Healing Justice Santa Barbara is proud to present the Second Annual Black is Beautiful Gala, a powerful celebration of Black/African American beauty, culture, and community in Santa Barbara County.

This year’s theme, "Black Excellence Through the Decades," honors the extraordinary cultural contributions of Black/African American individuals to our nation’s history and heritage.

Join us for an inspiring evening that highlights the richness of Black culture through fashion, art, music, media, and more. From legendary style icons and visionary artists to trailblazing musicians and cultural trendsetters, we will celebrate the creativity, brilliance, and diversity of Black cultural achievements that have shaped and enriched our society.

Enjoy live performances, a keynote speaker, a curated auction, and youth and community awards honoring Black excellence.  The evening includes dinner, dessert, and dancing with a live band, all in a space that affirms and celebrates Black joy.
