As a Black led collective, our knowledge and experiences as mothers and caregivers is often undervalued, as historically, Black women and femme caregivers have envisioned our highest ideals of liberation. During this fellowship we invite participants to lean into our identities and share our knowledge.
The program develops 15-25 community mothers* and caregivers of color from across Santa Barbara County and equips them with strategies and relationships to positively impact their communities (and their children).
