As a Black-led and centered organizing collective we have committed ourselves to uplifting and affirming the most marginalized of Black people; which includes Black children. We pay special attention to Black children with disabilities, Black children of lower socioeconomic status, Black children of darker skin tones, and Black children that refuse to code-switch.

Our work centers joy, and has taken many forms. Over the past four years, our investment in Black youth has led to the development of the Black Student Alliance, an intentional convening of k-12 Black students across the Santa Barbara and Goleta School Districts, creating internships and leadership opportunities for Black college students and cultivating enrichment programming for Black children and youth.
